It’s an interesting subject. Perhaps it’s no coincidence that I recently read  in “Slavery Now - and Then” (Danny Smith) that… “Charles Darwin developed a theory of evolution which placed Anglo-Saxons, that is, the British, at the top of the evolutionary scale, with Africans as a ‘primitive’ race.” which is quite consistent with Aristotle’s notion that “one race was born to serve another” and had influenced Greek society and consequently other cultures in turn over the years. Clearly, knowledge and intelligence, though they are useful, are poor substitutes for compassion and justice.

My personal opinion is that not all aspects of big-bang and evolution theories are in conflict with Christian faith but, like others here I’m sure, I share the concern that God is being pushed out of our schools and universities.
