I will be performing at one of my favourite venues The Union Chapel as part of the “Dayilght Music” event presented by “Arctic Circle”. Looking forward to filling this large beautiful space with sounds and music. Free entry (suggested donation £3.50). There are 3 bands on the day, not sure what slot I’m on yet so get there when it starts to avoid missing me perform. 12.00pm – 2.00pm

I will be joined on stage by Yves Fernandez on Bass, Shakeel Yousaf on Vocals & Tabla and Aessi Gunawardhana on Violin.

Hey People, this Sunday we will be sharing stories and communion stuff but also Jon & Ros Bilbrough will be doing a video shoot for the kids. Was trying to work out how to write this but I just thought I’d cut and paste Ros’s email she sent.

We will set up our green screen studio in the room where the children usually go for sunday school, before Rainbow starts – we should get there by 230pm. There’s a fair amount of equipment to carry so if anyone is around that can help, that will be brilliant. Setting up the actual studio between Jon and I is fine, as long as some one can keep an eye on Elanor – she is used to us doing this so we just need another pair of eyes!
When the kids come into us, we’ll ask them (in groups of 2 or 3) what their favourite bible story is, and get them to draw it as a storyboard and draw their own settings for the backdrop. We then record (audio) each group telling the story in their own words. After that, each group will go into the studio and we film and direct them to match their audio telling of the story. Jon will edit all of this together for them, so they can see themselves on film (the edit will have to happen a few weeks afterwards). We’d also like to take photos of the children when they are in the studio for our website (the beanstalk studio) – I’ll ask parents at the start of Rainbow if they are ok with this or not. When we have done this in schools children have loved it so we hope the children at Rainbow will enjoy it.
